Our second bar made in partnership with Workshop Coffee brings together rich, zesty cacao from the Solomon Islands with a clean and complex coffee from Ethiopia. Hunkute is grown organically by around 1,900 smallholders in the Sidamo region of Ethiopia and roasted in London. The coffee's powerful aroma of chamomile, honey, white pepper and apricot pair wonderfully well with this cacao.
David Natei's three-hectare farm is completely family-run. David has a strong interest in improving fermentation and drying practices, thus producing outstanding cacao. Rich and deep with notes of lime and banana, it balances well with the floral stone fruit flavours of the coffee.
